They're not good. Well, they're edible but so many crisp producers do it better. I like those...don't know the name but they have a black pepper flavour and a chili flavour and they're very crispy. They're expensive but a real premium crisp.
Mackie's aren't particularly crisp which is fine. They're a traditional level of crispness and I'm okay with that. But the flavours aren't great.
They try wacky ones. I just finished a bag of bacon ones. They were alright. Would have liked the flavour quotient punched up.
There's also a haggis flavour. So stuff like this. Novelty flavours and trying to cash in on jingoism. Doritos does this too but Doritos introduces flavours that are actually good and you're upset when they discontinue them. Plus their standard flavours are good. Mackie's fails all of this.
So yet another disappointment about shitty Scotland. I need to find a place that isn't shitty and live there. I'm thinking that the UK isn't it.
