I was reminiscing recently. Remember that Penny Arcade series where they showed their hiring process? Oh. Well, basically, they said they were going to shove cardboard up the applicant's anus and the person who told the most racist joke got the job.

A bit of an unusual process, you might think. But at the time, the members of the forum were in near universal agreement that the interview process was a great one.

Interesting to note the comments for these Youtube videos. Firstly, there aren't many. Even three years later, it seems that Penny Arcade was already in steep decline. But what we do have is near universal condemnation of those ridiculous interviews.

Skip to the six minute mark where the accountant guy talks about his favourite episode. It's the one where they do the job interview.

Then at the seven minute mark, the janky-toothed, chubby-chasing artist of the comic says that anyone who doesn't like their interview style won't get a job at the company.

I was the person they were referring to. I posted a few messages on their forum about how disgusting the job interview was and how it's 100% about personality. Almost everyone on the forum attacked me.

Why? I was right. And just look at the Youtube comments. Everybody agrees that the interview was total bullshit.

So the winner was Erika (the one who looked like a super bull dyke). She was deemed the best candidate based on...I don't know. Watch the videos and you'll see what I mean. There was no interview. They went bowling and she told a racist joke. Nobody was asked "what's your best quality", "give an example of a time you couldn't meet a deadline" or the usual job interview questions. It was all personality.

Matthew is the guy who clearly should have got the job. But he was reserved. Not a fun guy to be around. Didn't like the idea of things being inserted into his anus.

This apparently is what the degenerates at Penny Arcade are looking for. As it turns out, Erika wasn't a bull dyke at all. She had a boyfriend and got married (to a man) shortly after getting the job at Penny Arcade. There's a Youtube video of the proposal. But then she figured out that she's gay so divorced him a short while later. Then that wasn't edgy enough so now she wears men clothing and wants to be called a dude.

This mentally ill woman is who they hired. And from what I can gather, she/he/it is still working there. I guess she wears men's clothing. Obviously, being an unattractive woman in man's clothing doesn't make one a man. That's an insult to both men and women.

It also seems from her Facebook that she's a Muslim now. I wonder what else she can do to be controversial. Dog sex, I guess. Actually, she is called "dog daddy" or something on her Twitter and has a bunch of pictures of dogs with her. So looks like she's already there.

Anyway, it's mildly interesting. I wonder what Matthew is doing. I saw something about a fine artist with his name in Seattle but then on Facebook, it appeared to be a man in his 60s. Whatever you're doing, Matthew, god speed, you were robbed by these sick ####s, and I hope you're happy and doing a job that you enjoy.
