It gets better. It's not a steady progression, it's sometimes better or worse, but it should go away again. Then hopefully I'll be okay for a long while. If the back doesn't crack in a while, it gets painful like this. But then you get a big crack and suddenly, everything is fine again. I've had some small cracks this morning so things are tolerable.
I think that the poop is somehow affected too. I've had some big time diarrhea these past few days. One time, I didn't even think I was going to make it to the toilet. And I was having flatulence at night such that I thought that I crapped my pants.
No bloody stool in quite some time, though. So that's good news. A few months at least.
What else have I been doing? Oh, I have to find a flat. There are major repairs required to this place so the scumbag landlord just gave me notice to leave. It would have been tough to take a crap with no bathroom floor but still, people do it. Homeowners don't leave their home when they get a new bathroom floor. Well, maybe they do. If they only have one bathroom, as is the case here. Stay in a hotel.
I'm just going to look for another place in the city. Hopefully find something half-way decent but even if I don't, I only have to stay for six months.
I think it's been over a year without television. When my ladyfriend was here, we watched some tv and I realised how much I've been missing. There's probably 20 wpisodes of Family Guy that I haven't seen. Same for the Simpsons.
But that's good news. Build up a stockpile of them. Then I can watch them years later and it will all be new to me. Just one new episode after another.
Of course, the Simpsons have been shit for decades. But it's still semi-interesting. The episode I saw with my ladyfriend looked like it was done with Legos. It was surely all CGI and it's just a gimmick and it wasn't funny but still, it's something. New Simpsons.
I'd like to say that I took up some cool hobby now that I'm not wasting my life on tv but no.
I suppose that if I gave up the internet, I'd have to start reading or going for walks or working out or something. Whittling. Learn a language. Meet pigs off of Tinder.
At least I never got into that social media shit. That seems to be a problem for people. Or at least, that's what the popular media says. I've never known anyone who's addicted to this shit. Of course, I don't know many people.
It might be an idea. No internet. But I barely use it anyway. I only use it to listen to podcasts and watch shit on Youtube, often while I'm playing Fire Pro.
But if I just turned the computer off entirely, man, that's rough living. I did it for a few months when I first came here. Just staring at the ceiling all day. I'd probably have to get a book at some point.
