I don't know why you're all so worried. In my experience the diy'er creates loads of work for the likes of us. They also develop some respect at the same time. I had a customer several years ago who'd spent a day and a half fitting a cavalier cv gaiter. When I told him we'd have charged (at the time) 8 quid to do the job he nearly fell over!! He also begged us not to tell his wife!!!
