Fitted one from ECP as the customer didn't have much money. After three weeks the car returned with MIL on, tested and found catalyst efficiency fault, tested as required - cat fault. phoned local branch to be told " we never get any problem with our cats" they sent out replacement. Fitted replacement, burnt in and reset as required , sent customer on their way with an apology.
Four weeks later ditto, phoned ECP to be told "there must be a fault with the car we never have a problem with our cats".
Got fed up with the embarrassing situation of a customer coming back twice with the same fault so sourced a cat from another supplier, fitted it about six months ago now - make your own conclusion.
Still waiting to be paid the labour claims I sent in but I don't take excuses. Why should we lose out when its thier parts at fault? Courts soon!
