I second the last comment, technicians and the motor trade in general are both very under valued. I am right in thinking that the average wage for a Tech/MOT tester is above 25k p/a, out of interest the charge out labour rate must plus £50 p/h then. I wouldn't expect people to share sensitive business info but I am finding with the local stealers offering very cheap servicing (allegedly!) we are having to drop below that figure quite often. Is everyone in the same boat?
