Still very annoying but at least its fixed and if it goes wrong again, I will have nothing to do with it, They can take all responsibility for any future failure as they have now checked it and they were the last people to work on it.
now, I wonder if I should ring the manageress and see how much they owe me, as they have now admitted selling me a faulty component that I had to check out and condemn before I could attempt to get it swapped under warranty. ???
