Interesting to see that the NCT is carried out every 2 years for vehicles up to 10 years old and then every year, and in 2014 around 50% fail the test.

Also "From 1st May 2012, failure to produce the required identification (driving licence/passport) will result in your vehicle not being issued an NCT certificate at the time of testing."
