I think it will be a nightmare for all concerned and will cost the motorist more as the Testing Stations will have to make there money from Mot's they will have no income from repairs and no cushion for discounts. Their will certainly be a retest fee, the Testing Stations will be looking to fail the cars for minor items for more revenue.

According to Vosa figures 40% of cars fail the mot as it stands now and customers will have to make several journeys to get a pass certificate. The EU doesn't know what's best for our Mot Stations, or for the people that live in the UK. They certainly have not looked how difficult things have become when you look at the state of play in Ireland.

It's sad when you think that 75% of the laws governing Britain are made in Brussels.
