Those semi-auto tcm modules are quite annoying. ECU Testing.com say just to bleed them and all will be fine.
From my experience of fitting them after repair is not how they say. You bleed them with a power bleeder but you still can't select gears. The only way I've found is either a complete relearn which then runs the risk of completely failing or a clutch set point learn.
If you do a bleed option using ids then it does a transmission relearn as well and with the warning note attached from ecu-testing.com it clearly states not to do this.
So unless you have a tool capable of carrying out a clutch set point learn then I don't see how it works.
I've done two for my self and one for another garage, we all had the same problem (couldn't engage a gear without serious gear crunching) but a clutch set point relearn cures them.
