"I'm sure if I ever had to own a vehicle of the now/future with this type of technology I would just have it on a lease type deal as I would never feel it was really mine"

I am sure as others have pointed out this is the way things are heading, this way they control who can do what to your car (or rather there car), an interesting thought for anyone in doubt my prediction is by 2018 40-50% of cars will be lease only....

now I am sure many will say not possible but just imagine the following scenario:

You goto buy a car you have 6 models in mind from 4 oem's, you say to the salesman "I want to buy this one" and he replies sorry sir that model is only available on lease, "what about that one", sorry sir that model is only available to lease, you head to another dealer and the same applies and so on...... now ask yourself do you lease the car YOU want or buy a car you DON'T want .
