I recently purchased a 4810 tool box stack & to be honest the quality has gone down hill. I spoke to the area manager who was very agresive & tells me "that is the quality of tool boxes they now supply",I have had delivered 4 more top boxes & they all have one or the other of these faults.
top lid dosent fit ie gaps larger at back than at front.
Rubs at front were lid closes.
on the deeper draws the roller bearing runners are scratching the paint & gouging into the metal.
all in all very poor quality & for £2500.I then spoke to marketing who agreed thay shouldnt be like that until he spoke to same area manager & then changed his mind.i have to say i am very disapointed with snap-on who i have purchased tools from for the last 20 years. All i want is a tool box made to there advertised fine tolerances.Has any body had similar problems?
