    Hi Andy,

Got to agree with you, like you, I am a company car driver, the big difference is that CAmberley Auto Factors actually own all the cars & vans that we run, so you would expect a better level of service from the dealers, as it's not crappy lease work, totally wrong I'm afraid. Currently have the misfortune to have a Peugeot, the dealers arew terrible, no phone call when the cars ready, so I'm always chasing them. It's an '03 406 diesel, apart from the recalls for the radiator fans that catch fire & the dodgy airbag wiring, it's been back in for four wiper switches, two headlamp switches & three times for lack of power.

On every occasion they have not contacted me I have had to ring them, there has been very poor courtesy, the only bonus was they gave me a little 206 each time, which virtually crippled me to drive.

On a diagnostic note, each time it's been back for lack of power, they have just said they can't find the fault, so all they did was load the latest version of the Siemens software on the ECU & chuck it back at me.
I know waht the problem is, the waste gate opens at exactly 3000 RPM & basically it becomes naturally aspirated from then on. But they can't suss it out.

    Bloody dealers, useless.

The Rover, Ford, Fiat, Volvo dealers I used with previous cars were no better either.

After the first service we always use a local customer for servicing, Yateley MOT, local to my office do mine, and a good job they do as well!

Rant over, back to normal now.

    Regards Rob.
