Hi all, not sure if moving to a dealership was a very good idea, had a veh in the other day with erratic fuel gauge, the tech before me replaced dash pod and reprogrammed, i got it back with same fault. I started all my testing for good signal and good earths and resistances, i was told my method would taking too long and that it was more than likely the sender unit and just to order a new one. I am not one for swapping bits willy nilly and i like to find the fault before replacing. Anyone else come across this, surely we are here to diagnose or have cars got to a stage that we are all just fitters. Jim
