Unfortunately this one (EAC65-001) has a round magnet, mechanically it is fine but I think the pot is faulty, the output of track 1 seems slightly unstable at WOT on the meter even though it seems ok on the scope.
Paul, what is the part number of your unit?
The throttle flap on mine does not move when revved either, I think that as a GDI it is controlling the engine speed by fuelling and that stratified charge technology is allowing it to run with the lean mixture this would produce.
