As it was Xmas eve I couln't do anything till 5th Jan, so sent TB back to BBA which was collected on the 6th recieved it back today and refitted to vehicle which was spot on. BBA said they had found and fixed the fault but I don't know what the fault was.
Credit where its due they did sort the problem but the lost time AND doing the job twice is frustrating and hard to explain to customers.
I have now had several throttle bodies done by BBA and I recenty purchased a Punto steering column after a motor repair failed to fix it (faulty torque sensors in column).
If this throttle body fault is a one off I am happy to carry on Using BBA but if I continue to have parts returned to me that are still faulty I will have to reconsider.
