Paul if this helps.....
Just connected at first before bolting up. I turned on the ignition and the butterfly immediately initialised from fully open to closed. Fitted unit back on vehicle,started up, worked a treat. The frustrating part is if the TPS was available as a spare I would have fitted one almost straight away.
I measured the TPS as ok, BBA said it was ok, but a new one fixed it.
