Hi all,
Hope someone might be able to shed some light on this. This was towed in this evening as a non starter,code read showed up several faults,
P2781 CAMSHAFT SENSOR-INLET, P2731 FUNCTION,CAMSHAFT CONTROL,INLET, P2782 CAMSHAFT SENSOR,EXHAUST, P27C1 ALL CAMSHAFT SENSORS FAILED, P2866 VARIABLE VALVE GEAR-LEARNING STOPS NEEDED.
The oil level was low,i topped it up and it started and ran ok.After a test drive i put it up and let the oil (very murky) draining overnight.
Would lack of oil or poor oil quality cause all these fault codes ? I will post more tomorrow when i drive it again.
Any input much appreciated as i am not too familiar with these engines or the VVT system
