Hi Dave, If i can answer about my one, this is a Seimens system which uses frequency shift to determine crank position (like a Simtec Vauxhall) so it is quite difficult to capture and assess a meaningful waveform. The pickup is from a toothed wheel on the front of the crank. It is not interference, a bump start downhill has been tried with no success.
