Hi Pete. I have spent another 4 hours on this today!! My feeling is the same as yours, in that I believe it is under fueling for some reason during this early warm up period. Today I removed the throttle housing from the inlet manifold, thoroughly cleaned it and rebuilt. While it was off I ran another smoke test and this did not show up any leaks in the inlet system. I also removed and double checked the egr valve which was fine. Finally road tested again, and guess what - exactly the same!! I have already had the vac pipe for the map sensor off, and blown through with compressed air and it is clear. I put a vac gauge on today as well in the line to the map sensor, and I have 19 inches of vacuum at idle when hot. I need to see what this equates to, as the map sensor reading on the scanner was 35kpa, so I needed to see if the map sensor is reading low/high to what I am getting on my vac gauge. Next I will get the 4 gas readings cold and hot, and as you suggest scope the cts and tps, although looking at the much slower Launch graphs, these look ok. I think the injectors 'cleaned' will be the next stage, and I have had 3 different plugs in with the current ones being new NGK R plugs!! Let me know if you have any other inspirations, and I will come back when I have some more results. Many thanks for your help Roger
