I was going to post again with similar comments but as Mick put it, you saved me the trouble!
One of the reasons I am in this trade is because I enjoy finding out how things are supposed to work when they don't, but I am also subject to LER as you put it.
Continuing on the original subject. Are there any other 5v feeds (or 12v with a resistor) that could be used with the same effect as the original circuit? As I understand it Kevin's objection is because both sensors are on the same feed?
