hello can anyone help me with this?
intermittent misfire logs codes p0300/p0301/p0304
tests and checks performed as follows......
primary coil signals scoped
secondary signals scoped and peaks @25kv
injectors scoped
induction system smoke pro tested
egr tested and closed @.94v on feedback sensor
o2 sensor closed loop
fuel pressure @4 bar
ecu software up to date
air mass no symptoms and changed
ignition coil and plugs changed
moved injectors 1&4 to cylinders 2&3
compressions 4@160psi
have seen no.4 cylinder misfire at idle with good injector scope pattern and good kv at spark plug,ecu will then turn off injector for cat protection logging misfire codes.switching ignition off and on will reinstate injector.
had new valves/guides and hydraulic lifters.
same fault & codes.
no hair left and not sleeping at night now!!
