Hi guys

I don't know if this post is in the correct forum but here goes the vehicle has done 88,000 and it came in with the oil warning light and display flashing on intermittently normally after a motorway run I have looked at the obvious /flushed oil replaced oil pick up and oil pressure switch but it still flashes on it can go 10 days and not happen I have tried to get my oil pressure gauge in to check the pressure but it is a nightmare it took forever to change the switch .the only fault code related to oil temp intermittent signal out of desperation I changed the level/temp sensor in the sump I would change the oil pump but its the one that's chain driven and is a big and costly job and I wouldn't be confident it would cure it .I know I should check the pressure but it never happens in the workshop any ideas
