Have scoped cam to crank which seems good ( although no good known trace to compare) also scoped stater current draw against ignition which appears to fire at the peak current of the ramps so ( bit dirty Harry I know) it would appear the timing is ok, I am reluctant to start tearing the engine apart as I cant see how a timing issue would only be apparent when left for a few hours then clear once warm? Unless the variable valve tIming is compensating for the issue?? maybe someone could correct me??
Does anyone know any more info on the valve lifter issues As this does seem to fit the symptoms? Also the vacuum readings are indeed 10inhg (read with custom gauge) thanks again for all time spent on this post.
