As per my last post this was cured by cleaning the manifold and then carrying out basic setting on channel 142.
For anyone else with the same dtc the manifold runners can fall apart at the actuator end and this can be checked by pulling on the end of the runner to see if it moves out from the manifold (thanks to Jon Morgan for that info).
