I scope the cam and crank through
Ignition on, crank & start, idle, WOT, idle, ignition off,
You can normally see the sync shift throughout the capture especially crank & start and when the accel pedal is released after WOT,

Have you checked the crank signal at the ECU?

Also put some more time on the screen and dial your sample rate up.
