Is the Knock Sensor working? The Lambda sensor cycle is as you say far too slow and should switch at approx 1 Hertz. I would have thought that if it sits at 0.1v for too long then it would trigger PO171 and possibly cause the pinking. Has the Lambda sensor been tested? An exhaust emission check of the O2 will verify (or not) that it is running too lean during HO2 switching cycle.
