Don't forget that lots of 1.2 16 valve clio's suffer with intermittent stalling problems, Have you checked the condition of the throttle housing to see if its clean or dirty and oily. ??

If the car stalls, it can log Map sensor as a fault as it loses manifold vacuum as it is stalling. ( As pete was suggesting in his first reply )

If the throttle body is clean and the adaptions have been reset and it still stalls then it could have a faulty throttle body, wiring or ecu as they all cause that problem and Renault dealers used to replace all 3 items at the same time as it was the only way that they could guarantee a cure. The only problem is that any of these parts are now more than the cars are worth.

ohh. Just remembered, are the wires to the ecu damaged by the metal anti theft cover that sits over the top of it. ( assuming that its the one with the ecu at the back of the engine. )
