I agree its nice to learn as we go along.

I just thought with renault you couldn't change both ecu and uch at the same time because I understand it that it gets the code from one or the other when pairing.

So basically you can reset the uch to a as new state but how will you know what the immobiiser code is for the ecu your using as a replacement?

And what is the key fob matched to, UCH or engine ecu.

Is there a way to source the code from the donor car with the vin number.
