Mike, The EOBD pod is designed to work with all EOBD compliant vehicles, so if you’re CAN harness is working ok and the car is compliant it should work. Because it's a diesel they don't need to comply until this year. With regard to the SRS light, the pod only communicates with the EMS on the CAN network and should not effect any other controller, I would be interested to know if you have used this equipment on any other CAN EOBD vehicles.
