    Peter,
Can you tell from your live data if it is staying in closed loop or not at idle ?
I had a rover the other day that would go into open loop as soon as it returned to idle.
Thanks to a post in the archives I found out that by turning on lights, heater etc putting a load on the alternator it would go straight into closed loop.
I have some live data from a couple of corsa's saved on my works pc so I can post that on monday.
I am pretty sure that the starting figure for the fuel trim is 100, (hopefully those that definetly know will correct if it's not) so anything above 100 is adding fuel and anything lower is taking away. So what is the ECU reacting to, maybe you will see that in live data, MAF reading ?
As it has an after market 02 sensor on it, it might be worth checking that the heater side of it is working ok.
    Regards
    Dave
