    I agree that the MAF sensor is probably faulty, especially as the desired and actual figures on live data or quite different - desired 16 Kg/h and actual 10 Kg/h. To prove a point I used a 2 K Ohm variable resistor, I brought the MAF voltage up fractionally so desired and actual readings where equal. It made no difference to the emissions.
    I've checked the crank case breathers today and all look clear. I did notice, however, that with the main breather disconnected, emissions drop right down and lambda sensor starts switching. Could it be that the engine is breathing too heavily and oil vapor is causing this?
    This car belongs to a young lad who I suspect rags it to within an inch of its life. Whats more its a right old dog and the bills getting bigger!
