Hi, A while back I had a jeep with about a pint of water in the fuel tank. I found whilst testing that if I ran the pump dry for a second it only pulled just less than 1 amp, wet with a blocked inlet filter was 2.25 amp but wet with a blocked outlet was 4.75 amp. It may be worthwhile checking the pump current when you road test. Graham
