Not sure where you are with this but FWIW, ask your customer where he was getting his fuel. Every single time I have seen this code, on various different manufacturers, like Vauxhall, Citroen, Peugeot, Toyota etc. I have looked at the live data to find that the back 02 sensor is switching at the same rate as the front. The only thing these customers had in common, was that they had all used Supermarket fuels. Ive had cars where the dealers have fitted cats and sensors and then wanted to fit ecus too, then washed their hands of the cars when their customers started asking questions. On every occasion, I asked the owner to run the fuel out of the tank and fill up with the expensive "super unleaded" fuel. Run that tank through then use only normal unleaded and stay away from the supermarket filling stations.

I have posted this sometime ago, here http://members5.boardhost.com/ukautotalk4/msg/1172064774.html just before the onslaught of the supermarket fuel fiasco. Since then I have dealt with this code several more times, and have yet to see one come back.
