    vauxhall astra 1.6 8 valve mil flashing Archived Message

    I have fitted gm recon ecu and after coding in with DEC scan all seemed fine and engine started and road tested ok.
    It now flashes mil continuously indicating immobiliser but the engine still starts and runs ok. I get p1610 immobliser code.I have recoded twice and light stops flashing until you turn off and allow ecu reset time, any ideas is it a DEC scan issue or have I missed something in the procedure.
