Thanks for reply Mike, Am I to assume then that the Dec scan can't carry out the necessary programming and only TECH 2 is capable of this. The Dec claims to be able to program immobiliser and even an ECU from other vehicle can be reprogrammed?. Is the problem only with Recon ECU from Vauxhall as they have dummy program as you say.
