Hi Steve. Do not intend to hijack your thread but this is all very good cheese. Went to a Golf 2.00 GTI 51 plate at a garage where it appears to be running ok but mil keeps coming on. Fault Codes PO130, 172 and PO411 stored relating to HO2 sensor and secondary air injection. Although emissions were fine and checks ok, we replaced O2 sensor in view of mileage and deal with cheapest option first. Previously, mil light came on every couple of weeks or so but always checked out fine at garage. Anyway, that was 2 weeks ago and mil light now back on again. So now looking at Pete and Daves advice, have something more concrete to go on. Regards Pete M |
