Renault Master 2.2 DCI 2001 - Non Starter, was told it needed new injectors Archived Message

    Bad French Day Here
This viva la DCI has come to me from another garage story is that it would not run and they were told it needed new injectors, when the garage removed them one snapped in head so head has been repaired and had 4 reconditioned injectors fitted but still no start.then the garage were told the injectors needed coding.

Using the Autocom i have retrieved a manufacturers fault code DF083 Fuel pressure solenoid valve. This fault is constantly there, if i re set the codes with just ign on it instantly comes back. only info i could find was by phoning Autodata. They said the sensor has a 12v feed on term 1 and term 2 is a signal to ECU,resistance check around 5 ohms, checked feed and i have 12v, resistance 3.5 ohms.
I rang the dealers to see if they have sold many of these solenoids which they said yes and we have 3 in stock. So on the strength of that i purchased one, still no start. looking on live data with the Autocom i have 112Bar in chamber fuel pressure,i know the merc CDI will not start with less that 150. Also the injectors on this master look identical to the merc's so i have removed all return pipes to check for a leaking injector i would say all four look ok with about 2 teaspoons of fuel coming out of the return after 20 seconds of cranking.Van will run for an instant on easy start. I can see on my machine that i can re code the EGR if it is replaced but not the injectors, also our machine will re code some of the injectors on other Renault system but the type of injector shown is not the same as the ones used in the 2.2 master. can anyone tell me for sure if these injectors require coding, also any info on the solenoid would be great, especially any PIN DATA so i know what it should be sending to the ECU.
    Many Thanks
    DJ
