Well guys what can i say where do i start,
Had ECU tested via camco at ATP came back with a full pass.
So i kept looking at this van thinking it's the same as a Vauxhall Movano and i don't think they would have changed the diagnostic platform, so maybe i should plug my Tech 2 in here, but i was a little apprehensive as i have already blown this thing up once before. Anyway i took the chance and it works perfect full dealer level access.
Only one fault code was in there P0190 this is the equivalent fault code to DF083 (fuel pressure solenoid valve) same as the Autocom had given me. But luckily it cam with a little lore text info P0190 (3) Not present fuel pressure sol valve circuit low input. Having this info i was then able to print the TIS test procedure and follow it through.
The first test on the TIS system was to check for 12 volts supply to the solenoid valve, which i had already done before and had 12V, i tested again and still had 12v, but just by chance the phone rang it was some Zimbabwean guy operating out of the Seychelles offering me an opportunity to invest in their stock market shares, after spending ten minutes trying to tell this dood that there was no way i would be giving them any of my cash i then hung up the phone and returned to the job, luckily i had left the multimeter on and the ignition on and would you believe it we were at 4 Volts. i quickly tested at the battery we had 12 volts. turned ignition off and back on we had 12 volts, then decided to crank the engine with the multimeter on it dropped from 12V to 3V. I then took a quick look at the TIS it says below 11v is an interruption between sol valve and K18 relay. Unfortunately this meant un looming virtually all of the wiring loom when i eventually stripped the loom back, along the front side of the gear box there it was a heavily corroded supply wire just holding on by a strand or two with black death running through the copper wire. Re loomed the fuel sol and all is perfect van started up after a few cranks, and its now instantly on the key.
So a word of warning here my friends if you get any of these french vans showing strange faults then first thing to do is check the wiring loom and do the old wiggle test, as this van's loom had rubbed through and corroded in as many places as possible.
Thanks for all the help and support
    Regards
    Dave
