Hamas is guilty of grave war crimes, which I've condemned repeatedly.
1) The war crimes of your enemy does not allow you to commit war crimes.
2) Hamas' war crimes are not armed and backed by the West.
3) Israel's war crimes are much much deadlier.

Israelis masquerading as humanitarian workers is wrong.

The taking of hostages was a grave war crime and like many others, I couldn't stop thinking of Noa's agonising capture for weeks after it happened.
The relief of their loved ones is unimaginable.
Their release in exchange for dozens of Palestinians slaughtered is obscene.

Incidentally, a search for 'right to resist' turns up a couple of results, none since Oct 7th. Telling that he only brings up the right of a population to resist foreign aggression, including with violence and arms supplied from the west, in the context of Ukraine. No response to the pointed questions of whether he supported the right of Afghans to resist western invasion/occupation. Funny that...

The Palestinians, for a start, have the right to resist under international law. What we're discussing in Ukraine is an imperfect democratic state suffering a full-scale invasion from its neighbour, and it would be truly unhinged not to support Ukrainian's right to resist that
