As Jonathan Cook, a former Guardian/Observer journalist wrote, the above piece [x] by Howard Jacobson in last week's Observer was possibly the vilest thing that has appeared in the media in living memory.
That it comes from the Guardian should make anyone contributing to their appeal feel ashamed. They are a racist, neo-liberal rag.
I sent a letter with over a thousand signatories to them but they ignored it.
I have sent them a follow-up to the email addresses below and you may wish to endorse my comments

Dear Guardian,
I did not think for one moment that the Observer would print a letter from over a thousand signatories. However it was worth giving you a chance to make amends.
Don't think that printing 2 letters in response to Howard Jacobson's vile article is an adequate response. It is not.
As Jonathan Cook (a former Observer/Guardian journalist) wrote it is 'possibly the vilest article published by the UK media in living memory'.
Do you think that if you had an article on the Holocaust then that requires a 'balanced' article from David Irving, a holocaust denier?
You and your colleagues are despicable. As Northern Gaza is starved literally and people in tents are burnt alive, you are still pursuing the 'antisemitism' smear agenda for all its worth.
Try to get this round your thick skulls. If allegations of child slaughter in Gaza are a 'blood libel' then that surely means that the ancient anti-semitic blood libel must have some truth to it, since there is no doubt that Israel is deliberately murdering Palestinian children.
Yours in disgust,
