There is a global slowdown - or am I making this up? Archived Message

@dovetailjoint, Keith-264 is correct, primary industry and secondary industry jobs have vanished in many of the areas that voted to exit the EU - most of my family was in coal and steel and i can attest to this fact - come visit Torfaen and see what the EU has done for us. Better still, come and see the carnage Thatcherism achieved - most can't afford to journey overseas and think it a success to get a welfare payment now and again! Oh, and as I live between China and South Wales, economically speaking, things ain't look too great in the Asian group of nations, which, funnily enough, is a major market for car manufacturers globally - China ain't importing many expensive cars and SUVs lately and this has had an impact, or is this too associated with Brexit?
