Conflating all of this stuff together doesn't actually make for a convincing argument about the merits, or otherwise, of Brexit in my opinion. I'm not sure how, if we are on the cusp of a global economic turndown, is relevant to Brexit and the job situation in Sunderland, for example. How far does one broaden the parameters of the discussion fefore it becomes too broad and the details of what's happening are pushed aside? I think that Capitalism is a poor system, that's more than past its' sell-by date and is destroying the environment and leading to a world-wide degredation of the environment that's producing a global threat to civilzation and all life on the planet through runaway, global warming. That's the really big picture. Yet, I don't remember this perspecitive being part of the Brexit debate, before or over the last two years.
