I remember reading a "timeline" of sorts Archived Message

on the subject of the sudden lurch to the right of the fraudian. I can't recall where it is, but I usually bookmark or copy interesting links so I will have a search. I remember the main inflection point seemed to be when they had to sell off the Auto Trader wing of the group which was their last remaining profit maker. Then an (at that time, not sure about now) unnamed "venture capital" source bought it out and they didn't have to lay off scores of staff. From that point it was the targetting of US and, to a lesser extent AUS, markets and the arrival of neo-con columnists and obvious, mordern day "Operation Mockingbird" spook funnels along with the insane IDPol hysteria (Jessica Vallenti was the shock trooper of that particular front; she's so relelntlessly insane that the even the fraud try to keep her hidden these days). I will try to dig up the link, or some other sources, rather than rely on my addled memory :D One thing is for sure about their decline, like they say about certain plane crashes, it was sudden, severe and terminal.
