There is no such thing as public culpability, there is no such thing as a group when it comes to law, morality and consciousness. Only an individual can be culpable. In any given moment or situation, YOU are either a sucker or you aren't; YOU are either a liar or aren't.
Yes, the people are not equal to the concentrated forces working against them. But PCR's statement still stands - I think since Vietnam, and esp. since Gulf Wars I & II and 9/11, Americans are running out of excuses. Furthermore, what CJ seems to be suggesting is that changing the system is the priority. No, the priority actually is, was, and always will be to become conscious. So, it is wiser and more possible to help others see through the lies than to change or eject the liars! And replace them with truth-tellers?? No difference. As long as people are passive recipients of information, the world is doomed.
As for your last statement, most people are unaware they are Marxists. The indoctrination runs quite deep. It's a psychological indoctrination perpetrated by the "security" and "safety" industries, by the Self-Esteem movement, by various New Age movements (many of them covert and insidious), and of course, through the ever-present "diversity/multi-cultural" and feminist agendas.
Your failure to acknowledge and understand the nuances and contexts of my position seems to stem from your black & white interpretation which smells strongly of Marxist dialectics. If it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck . . .
