And furthermore, it is not a matter of war advertisement duping the people. There is compelling evidence that Americans (and others) are wary of war. The point is not to sell wars to people, but to distract them, divide them and drain them of their critical faculties. This makes it impossible for the average person to figure out what's really going on, it pits individuals and demographics against one another on ideological grounds, and wrecks the possibility of organized and coherent resistance.
The left-right divide is a profitable chasm which creates a marvelous psychological bounty in power's favour. Naturally, Power funds both sides of that war!
People are not innately good. You don't have to argue me. Just be honest. Remember high school? Okay. You know full well that to be good is to be true, to be conscious, and to act in accordance to true consciousness. But the majority pick teams, they operate on peer pressure, they seek acceptance and access and power.
The world is no different than high school. People are not innately good. Only individuals (needles in haystacks!) can be actualized goodness and realized potentiality, when they are so willing.
Beware the romantics and the liberals and the spiritual charlatans that make everything out to be easy! Beware the radicals that blame everything on society! Go instead with the Stoics, the Martyrs, the Saints, the Monks, the Mystics . . . The world is truly ruled by Satan and it truly takes tooth, claw, blood, sweat and tears to climb out of this pit alive and pleasing to God's eyes (which is the the whole point of "Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and all your strength."
Directing your anger at the deceivers is fuel to the fire. The deceivers are a permanent fixture on earth.
Help people. Inspire them to be brave. Give them the gift of faith.
