Yeah. MediaLens write many of their excellent alerts based on monitoring Tweets from politicans and MSM journalists - so it will be a pity if they no longer retain a Twitter account, for example. Politicians, power players, advertisers, marketers and their media will steadfastly retain their accounts, of course, because they appreciate Twitter's immediacy and very large, established subscriber base. Twitter's managers can only bounce and cut down so many accounts before they bust their own (successful) business model... so there's a limit and a price to pay for them over-stepping the mark. To alienate popular alternative voices who command big (and growing) followings - or to alienate rich rock stars like Roger Waters and other high profile celebs - create a potential backlash against them. Head of Twitter has proudly announced how he works with two analytical labs from Massachussets Inst of Technology (MIT) in order to police "healthy conversations". There's potential embarrassment for MIT here, as it becomes evident Twitter's gone to the dark side in ways that makes Chomsky's alma mater look bad, etc. The point is that all these platforms - from Twitter through to Minds - are flawed and American-controlled. We live in a very imperfect world: when it comes to communicating with each other, we need to be clever and use *all* available platforms to talk... and keep talking
