I think it'll be like a kitsch parody, with Johnson acting out his Churchill fantasies, whilst his awful cabinet pretends that the light up ahead is a beacon of promise, the promise of new golden age, and not the light on the front of juggernaut heading towards us. He's gonna run a nationlist eltection campaign blaming the EU for all of the UK's problems. It will be ghastly. What's really depressing is how many who believe they are on the 'left' will grudgingly support this nationalist mirage. |
