Not aiming for patronising, but you've been here in the lb for long enough to understand anarchic concepts, socialist concepts, revolutionary concepts, and yet you're not seeming to understand any such principles right here.
Our state is corrupt. It is designed to be near enough bomb proof while it stands with regard to who it is set up to serve (the elite). Therefore for us all not to lose all, it must fall. I don't want a bloody revolution. The other options are ones of civil disobedience, not to coax the state into doing right by the majority poor, because it won't, and if it does it will do so long enough to divert attention and no more. That is how it works.
People need to want to be free enough to actually be free. Some of that means preparing for a hit (try to minimise it, sure, but things always get worse before they get better.. Think grief as a non specific example )
The nhs was not formed as a victory for socialists, but as a gesture to war vets, the country at large to encourage everyone to get back to work and not revolt. It was well timed; people were at their wits end, and there may have been revolt if some real things hadn't been offered at that point. How Many lives sacrificed to get to that point where the govt (serving the elite) thought: shit, we'd better do something now..
That is what it takes for positive changes within the system to happen: half a million deaths because the uk decided Germany was ok for too many years (churchills common ground with hitler).
I don't want a repeat of that, which means the positive changes aren't going to magically happen either. The system is stale. Past its use by date. You can't polish a turd, but those who are persisting in believing that one softie can change a behemoth like the British political system from within think you can. They are wrong. We need to start again. If you're worried that's going to hurt the poor, then rest assured: we're already hurting and have been for so long, we are ready for anythjng. Kind of sick of the middle class gatekeepers telling us we're wrong.
Anyway, not being patronising. I just don't think you've done due diligence in either reading or understanding the problem. As I said, read about anarchic govt. I'm not arguing for none. Let me be clear on that. I'm arguing that in order to replace what is with something that works, you have to remove what is first. There is literally no other viable option.
