I've read now that it's normal in the UK for different barristers from the same chambers to act for opposing sides of the same case, and therefore if a situation like this occurs it should not be viewed as evidence of a conflict of interest. That's news to me, but that's how it works, apparently? In-fighting, doubts and negativity shouldn't put people off speaking out about this travesty of justice. As Assange wrote, "There's unity in oppression, so there must be unity in response".
